Launched at a price of $349 in the United States, the Pixel 4a is not only aggressively priced, but also much more affordable than even the Pixel 3a launched by Google last year.


The Google Pixel 4a is finally here. The massively leaked mid-range smartphone from Google which was originally scheduled to launch in May has finally found itself being unveiled to the world by the Mountview-based tech giant.

For the price($349), the Pixel 4a offers a lot in terms of the hardware it packs, and the feature set it offers to buyers. From its interesting design to its camera set-up, here are the five most interesting features of the Google Pixel 4a.

Mid-range specs…?

Make no mistake, the Pixel 4a is a mid-range device that doesn't even attempt to act any other way. The phone uses a competent Snapdragon 730G chipset under the hood for powering long gaming sessions and helping the user switch between multiple apps without any trouble.

Big battery…!

The Pixel 4a is promising long-lasting battery life. The phone maker claims the device can last up to 24 hours, because of the various battery features that Google has embedded within its software for the device. The phone has 3140mAh battery pack with support for 18W fast charging over USB Type-C.

 

Improved security…?

Google is also promising that they have improved security with the Pixel 4a. The tech giant has added support for the Titan M Security chip to enhance the security of on-device data. The phone is also promised to receive guaranteed updates for at least three years, to ensure it runs safely for the foreseeable future. It also has Google’s Personal Safety app that helps users get in touch with your emergency contacts.
